Delegate to your team leader to integrate your remote professional
One of the biggest hesitations around getting a remote professional is that it takes time and energy to onboard and support them.
And you’re right!
It’s just like any other team member. What you put in is what you get out.
But just as our client base is becoming larger, so are our clients’ teams and leadership structures.
What that means is that instead of the business owner delegating and supporting the remote professional, it’s often the business owner’s existing team member that supports the Virtual Assistant. Let’s call this person the “Leader”.
And so, although the business owner is often involved in the initial discussion of hiring the remote talent, scoping their role, and integrating them into the team – when it comes to the operations, it’s the Leader who oversees the remote professional’s day-to-day management.
So accordingly, our love team supports the Leader to have the right tools to support the remote professional.
That way the business owner doesn’t have to put as much time and energy into supporting their new remote hire.
Instead, it’s their Leader that does that (with our support).

We support the Leader and the remote professional to communicate, grow relationships, have clear expectations, and deliver value for the business.
If you are in a position of having a team within Australia, the UK or Ireland, and you are looking to get a specific remote professional to support your business, perhaps you could take the load off by asking your existing team to take the lead with your new remote professional.
That’s what I call “ultimate delegation”.
