I need a VA with an Australian Accent

I received an email from a potential client the other day and among his shopping list of requirements for his Virtual Assistant was the need for an Australian accent.

Now I pride myself on sharing with people what is possible around virtual assistants (lots) and what is not.

And an Australian accent is not. But when I talked to him, I realised that what he wanted was not really an Australian accent.

Instead he wanted his clients to be able to clearly understand his Virtual Assistant and not feel like they were calling a call centre.

Now THAT we can do.

We have many Filipino Virtual Assistants who answer and make phone calls with Australians.

They have what they call a ‘neutral accent’.

Not American, not Australian but neutral. And they don’t sound like mechanical call centre people, they are amazingly dynamic, friendly and are great representatives to support your clients.

So no, we can’t get Virtual Assistants with Australian accents. But you probably don’t need that anyway.
