Open role

What to work with fun Aussie Business Owners from the comfort of your own home?

We’ve got a number of awesome Australian business owners looking for Executive Assistants to help manage their schedules, their inboxes, and sometimes… their lives.

I wonder if this could be you?

We’re looking for experienced Executive Assistants who love putting systems in place, get a kick out of making things run smoothly, and aren’t afraid to keep their business owner accountable.

This isn’t your average EA role. It’s more hands-on, more personal, and more varied.

Plus you get to do it while wearing pajama pants if you wish!

You’ll be matched with one business, either a solo business owner or a small leadership team, and become their trusted right hand. You won’t just be ticking off tasks. You’ll be helping keep things moving, making sure the right things happen at the right time, and giving your person the headspace to focus on what matters most.

The style of support needed varies depending on the business.

  • One business owner describes himself as a bit of a “hot mess”, juggling multiple ventures and a colourful personal life
  • Another role supports two senior leaders in a highly structured and process-driven business
  • Another wants a Executive Assistant who is so direct that they interview him when you meet
  • And a few in between

So in your application let us know what style of business you prefer to work with as chemistry is important (our recruitment team do consider themselves “matchmakers”).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing inboxes: flagging what’s urgent, replying when appropriate, forwarding things on, and keeping the clutter out
  • Handling calendars: booking meetings, coordinating schedules, avoiding double-ups
Supporting meetings: preparing agendas, attending calls, taking minutes, and following up
  • Communicating with others in the business to help move things along
  • Helping the person you support stay focused on what really matters
  • Rolling with shifting priorities, showing initiative, and keeping calm when things go sideways
  • And other executive assistant, admin, or support-related tasks that help the business run smoothly

You’ll be working remotely with one Australian business. They’re down to earth, friendly, and usually up for a laugh, but they’re also busy (which is where you come in). They’ll value someone who’s direct, proactive, organised, and adaptable.

See a better way? Tell them
See something you can take of their plate? Do it
Organise a mess? Yes please
The priorities shift? Adapt
They don’t respond? Call them if urgent. Or move onto something else and remind them later.

What you need:

  • Pride yourself on being an awesome “Executive
  • Assistant” (and 3+ years of experience to boot)
  • High-speed, reliable internet
  • A fast, reliable computer
  • Inverter and batteries in case of power outages
  • Tech savvy (let’s face it you will probably be teaching your business owner a thing or two

Work hours:

4am to 12pm South African time, Monday to Friday
This overlaps with Australian business hours so you’ll be working in real time with your business owner

Support

Plus by working with one of amazing Global Team Clients you also become part of our team too. We support you and your business owner to work together well in the long term. Plus we have fun community events, games, prizes and other goodies too!

So you want in? (please say ‘yes’, please say ‘yes’)

When asked, “What job are you applying for?” please enter Executive Assistant.
This shows us you’ve read the full ad and that you’re detail-oriented (which is sort of important for this role).

We look forward to hearing from you!
